Changes needed??

So I was looking at the box score of the Mets game on sunday and they had beltran hitting 2 and Wirght hitting 3 and it got me thinking.. With Delgado's struggles with Men in scoring position why not bat Wright in the 4 slot and Delgado in the 5 slot.. it would take some pressure off Delgado and with Wright hitting like he is it may just be the shot in the arm we need... Just an idea.. Also Bring back Lo Duca to the 2 slot.. everyone else seems unable to hit there properly

Delgado Will Be Fine

I think it's Beltran, not Delgado that's the bigger issue. True Delgado's BA is horrible but he is still the power threat that forces them to pitch to the #3 batter. Beltran has not been taking advantage of the opportunities, killing every rally. I think they need to drop him to the second half of the order and put someone more productive up there until he gets his swing back. Or better still, give him some time on the bench until he loses those extra 15 pounds and starts showing us some hustle.

It's not power that Delgado

It's not power that Delgado is hurting with it's his Average.. many times he's come up with men on base and got out.. we need someone that will get base hits to score Reyes, Chavez, Gomez, etc. Delgado has been choking lately when he comes to the plate with men on.. take for instance a recent game against the Tigers... The Mets were down 2 and Delgado came up with bases loaded and 2 outs and what does he do... come back from a 0-2 count to make it a full count and then ground out... He's struggling and Wirght isn't.. simple enough fix swap them in the order until Delgado is back
