Update: Amazin Moments Fantasy Baseball League

I'm going to try and keep a regular blog for the Fantasy league the many people from the clubhouse are involved with. I will also try to add in some of my thoughts and comments about the league and other fantasy happenings.
Current Standings
1 - Team J 98.5 points
2 - Gary Carter #8 82
3 - YaGottaBelieve! 78.5
4 - Loopenark 76
5 - WrightStuff 65.5
6 - Swinging A Big Stick 64.5
7 - Amazin Mets 61.5
8 - Ny MeTs 60.5
9 - The Podcast Players 56
10- Team Ramrod 52
11- Bad Beavers 47
12- Big Doms Team DaBomb 38
So far it looks as Team J is running away with the league but there is still 4 months left so many things can still happen.
On a personal note:
My team (Swinging a Big Stick) is not performing as I thought it would.
My pitching has fallen though and I've been trying ot patch things together until Clemens and Pedro come back and hopefully dominate. Myers was pushed into the Phillies closer Role which hurt as I thought he'd be my Ace until Clemens came back. But I am well under my innings limit and that is very good as Clemens and Pedro will have innings left when they come back.
My offense which I thought would dominate after the draft has had meager results. Abreu and Damon have been flops. I recently dropped Sexson as he was destroying my AVG and not producing any power numbers. Kelly Johnson has been a nice waiver pickup. Furcal started slow as usual but is starting to come on. Sheffield, A Rod and Bay have been the only players I drafted live up to expectation. Hopefully my offense starts to play up to their capabilities.
So I will try to dig myself out of this hole I'm in and try to make a push to the top.
Also, I am open to trades so don't be shy. Pretty much everyone (except A Rod) is available.
Notes:
Suprise of the year (so far): Prince Fielder - I knew he was going to be good but this has been insane. Only A Rod has been putting up better power numbers. But Fielder is a better bargin because he was picked in the later rounds.
Dissapointment of the Year (so far): I can't pick between Abreu, Damon or Ervin Santana. None of them have lived up to expectation.
Good luck to the rest of the managers in the rest of the season and please stay active as it will make the league better for everyone.
