Enter The Braves

Tonight is the first real test for the Mets. Yes and only the fourth game of the season. Turner Field used to be a house of horrors for the Mets. We turned it around last season and routed the Braves in their home park.

With Glavine back on the hill for the Braves it feels a little bit like 2001 again though. We've got John Maine going tonight so I like our chances.

Angel Pagan has been a nice surprise over the first three games with 4 hits and 4 RBIs. Angel shouldn't be a surprise since he had a strong spring. But you never know how spring success translates into the regular season. I hope he keeps it going.

Let's go out and sweep those damn Braves so we can send the message to the NL East that Pedro or no Pedro we will be a force to be reckoned with!

I was at the game and very dissapointed with not only Maine, but also the team. They seemed sluggish and not ready to play. Maybe it was just the weather. I hope they can turn it around though because I can't stand the Braves and I'm sure none of the rest of us can either.

LET'S GO METS
