D-Day For Clemens

Am I sick of the whole steroid controversy? Yes. Am I sick of Roger Clemens? Yes. Would I rather focus on the upcoming season? Yes.
That said, I'm sure I'll surf over to WFAN in the morning at 10AM to listen to Roger Clemens and Brian Macnamee testify before a congressional committee.
I keep having these images run through my head of Mike Piazza getting drilled on the helmet and of Clemens firing that broken bat at Mike during the 2000 World Series. Roid rage? Who knows.
Everything I've seen, from the phony recorded phone call to the door-to-door lobbying on Capitol Hill have convinced me that Rog isn't talking straight. So maybe I'm looking for a pound of flesh but some answers that make sense would satisfy me too.

Video and Audio......and that steriod issue
Rob,
The video and audio both worked great. I think that this is a good new innovation, keeping the Clubhouse tech current!
As for Roger and Brian, since i'm in Antarctica, i had nothing to do during that time other than watch almost all of the testimony. First, I agree that the Democheats and the Repukeicans were split down the party lines. Surprise, Surprise! (I'm a Liberitarian). Second, it seemed like Roger was running for public office, as he stuck to the talking points that his lawyers and handlers gave him, along with the "awe shucks" attitude. Roger, just admit it already!
As for McNamee he's a two-bit punk who should be banned from ever coming near a athlete, professional or amatuer. He manipulated athletes, just like a drug-dealer manipulates addicts.
Finally for the Congress: Henry Waxman is a big dufas, who wouldn't know a liar if the idiot got hit in the face with a brick. His "imparital and fair" committee got sullied by his final statement to Roger Clemens that he believed McNamee more than Clemens. I think they BOTH lied, and are BOTH guilty.
Having said all that, what business is it for the Feds to waste the time and the AMERICAN PEOPLES money that they did over some stupid athletes who want to pollute their bodies and sulley their careers with juiced up statistics. I say let these overpaid boys (the athletes) pay, both financially and physically in the future for their past stupidity.
For our Mets: Think about what you do before you do it. Integrity is doing the RIGHT thing when NOBODY is watching you! Let's be the team that wins with INTEGRITY
Tug Said it.....I believe it.....That settles it......
YA GOTTA BELIEVE
Wasting Time And Money
I agree with you that this whole charade is a big waste of time and money. I've got some classic audio from the 2005 hearings (I'll add it to the next podcast) that shows no real progress on the topic of steroids in baseball has been made at the federal level.
If someone has committed a crime they should be charged by the justice department. We don't need any more hearings. What's the point of them? The answer always seems to be that there are no answers.
