What can you say on a night like this. Mets get a lead on three home runs. Wagner blows the save. The rest of the bullpen falls apart.

These are tough times for the Mets. I said earlier this season that there would be tough times. There are in every season.

I'm not gonna kill Billy Wagner on this loss because he had to blow one some time. It just came during the time when the Mets really needed to win. So be it.

These injuries are a killer. They break up the team continuity. We get Valentin back and we lose Chavez. Who knows when Alou will return. Hopefully next week.

The only saving grace is that the Braves have been losing too. Let's go out to Detroit and get well now.
