I went to the game last night thanks to a ticket from Alar. Thanks Alar.

Tom Glavine didn't have his best stiff but to quote a cliche the Yanks love to use, "He battled." The Mets were in the game all the way but couldn't break through versus Barry Zito.

How bad did I want the Mets to rough up Zito? Badly! He's a good pitcher though. I'm glad we didn't spend the $18 million though. Maine and Perez are doing just fine so I think we're coming out ahead.

I got a chance to have a look at the new stadium progress. Watch for a video soon. Also recorded audio for the next podcast. Trying to get that out later today.

We had a Giants fan behind us cheering hard for Barry Bonds and the Giants. I so wanted to turn around and rip on the guy. I held my tongue and let him have his fun though. Let hope the Mets go out and break his heart tonight.
