A great sweep for the Mets this weekend. But oh crap the injuries. Was that Damion Easely in the outfield yesterday?

The Mets get three and gain three on Atlanta. Way to go guys! Jorge Sosa returns to form. Another great sign.

Oh the injuries though. Shawn Green down with a fracture in his foot. Carlos Gomez has tweaked his hamstring. Moises Alou is still out. So we're upfront with Endy Chavez, Carlos Beltran and Damion Easley.

Easely's move to the outfield means that Ruben Gotay goes to second base because Jose Valentin is out. That means we've got a real weak bench.

David Newhan and Ramon Castro make up the available bench right now. I hear that outfielder Ben Johnson is on his way from New Orleans.

Now is a good time for the top of the lineup to get hot so we can get some guys healthy.
