I was in Penn Station last night and saw the forlorn coming through after Friday nights loss at Shea. One couldn't help feel like the hex was back.

The Mets were 1-3 against the Braves coming into the game today and it's almost hard to believe that we are battling them instead of the Phillies this early in the season.

So once again the road leads through Atlanta.

Our team, backed by Oliver Perez, Jose Reyes and Carlos Beltran struck back today. So I'm feeling a little better about things. Hopefully you are.

What a matchup tomorrow. Tom Glavine vs. John Smoltz in the rubber game of the series. Man on man. My friend Larry had a ticket for me but now that I'm upstate it's hard to get down for a game.
