Of Course Heilman Wants To Start

Of course Aaron Heilman wants to start. He was brought up in the Mets organization as a starter. And after some disappointing call ups he finally showed some promise in 2005. In 2006 he was relegated to a set up role.
Aaron was floundering around the middle of the season when the Duaner Sanchez accident occurred. Next thing you know Aaron is the 8th inning guy and he really rose to the occasion.
Aaron is 28 years old and this will be his sixth year in the Mets organization. Aaron has paid his dues. The Mets starting rotation is filled with holes. He should be given the chance to legitimately compete for a starting job.
Does anyone disagree with that thought?
