The Mets have signed Ruben Sierra to a minor league deal. Is it me or is this team getting older?
Yes, we have Reyes, Wright, Chavez, Milledge, Maine, Pelfrey, Perez and some other younger players. But we also rely heavily on Tom Glavine, Orlando Hernandez, Pedro Martinez, Moises Alou, Shawn Green and Jose Valentin. Now we've added Aaron Sele (36) and Ruben Sierra (41) with the possibility of adding them to the major league team.
I've got no problem with adding older guys as long as there is a philosophy behind the pickups. Sele makes sense because we need arms. I'm not so sure about Ruben Sierra.

Well if we are then I know
Well if we are then I know who can replace Alou when his contract expires next year.

Barry Bonds says he does not want to retire after this season and wants to continue playing. 1000 Homeruns? Looks like those steriods got to his head.
