All Star voting ends today and Wright, Beltran and Reyes are in unless hell freezes over. And Lo Duca may or may not be in. Willie Randolph was offered a spot as a NL coach, but will have a Shoulder surgery and miss it.
We've had our ups and downs, and our way downs. But to me, we are still a World Series contender, even if we have the worst record for a first place team (4th best record in the NL, 1.5 games from 2nd). Let's face it, if we avoided our slump, we would be killing the NL like last year. We were lucky enough to slump when the Braves did too. Luckily, we are out of the slump with 5 of our last 6 won.
So lets cruise through the last week of first half play and restart as a whole new team when we come back. (I'm personally hoping we have the White Sox pitcher by then)
