In 1972 (the first year I watched the Mets), the team lost it's starting OF, shortstop, catcher, and one starter to injuries. The next year, a surprise World Series appearance. Keep the faith.

Lots of News!
Submitted by BigDom on Tue, 06/26/2007 - 10:47There has been quite alot of trade talks happening around baseball and the main guy mentioned is Mister No-No Mark Buherle. The Mets are just one of 10 teams eyeing him to help their rotation. Though Omar Minaya has yet to hit the panic button and Jorge Sosa is helping him do that the Mets are still in on Buherle.

Omar is talkin
Submitted by BigDom on Sun, 05/06/2007 - 09:58We all know Omar Minaya. And we all know he isn't content with out starters.
Yes, out rotation is better than excpected so far. On the surface.
Looking deeper you see many problems.
1. Tom Glavine and El Duque are both on in years. El Duque has been quite prown to injury and Glavine is 41.
