What a reversal! I don't know if anyone saw the game tonight, but to me it was the most exciting Mets victory since Omir Santos' walk off against the Red Sox. not only was it our sixth straight win, not only did it keep up the black jersey + jason bay = win vibe, but it showed we can handle adversity.

I have been out of the loop for awhile so I thought that I would take a little responsibility as the proprietor of this place and let folks know that I'm a) alive and b) interested in the 2011 Mets season. I hope to get more active after I finish my studies a month from now. I'll have much more time to devote to my passion for the Mets, including perhaps going to a few games at Citi.

It stunk to be a Mets fan in 2010. Much like 2009 the team made an early run and then fizzled out due to a combination of poor performance and injuries. So we look to 2011 (the 25th anniversary of the 1986 World Series team) with great hope. Here are some things to look forward to in 2011.

Well, the 2011 schedule is out and I haven't looked at it in any detail yet except for the most selfish reason, to see if after living in Minnesota 6 years the Mets might actually come here finally.  Nope.  Wasn't there supposed to be some element of rotation to this??  We seem to play two teams here, one team there, then the Yankees a bunch.

I can't take any more of these nights of complete sleepwalking offense.  Have the Mets won a 12-10 game this year, anything like that?  Giving up 4 runs in the first two innings should not be an automatic loss.  I'm really at the point where I don't care if the entire team is torn down and brought back, up to and including Wright, Reyes and Santana.  All three are tainted by
