OK, I'm not watching the game (I'll watch the end in a few minutes when I get home....MLB.TV has as online preview if you voted for All-Stars), but Dickey was up with men on 1st and 3rd, 1 out, and a chance to tie up what was then and is now a 1-0 Giants game.  He sacrificed the guy on 1st to 2nd to give Pagan two guys in scoring position with two outs?  I can only hope this was a safety squeeze because if it wasn't, I would've taken my chances that a pitcher hitting .313 at the time could hit a grounder, fly ball or single to get a guy in from 3rd in what was and is going to stay a low-scoring game.

Man the Mets offense needs to get going. Zero runs in two games while our starters give up only three runs. What a waste. Sure we faced Tim Lincecum and Barry Zito. But nothing? Zero. Zilch. Nada. The Mets have to do better otherwise it will be a very disappointing summer all around.
