All of a sudden the Mets are big winners on the road. We may be on to something here. It's not like the Mets to have the middle of the lineup lead the offense. I've gotten too used to Angel Pagan and Rod Barajas providing the offense. Ike Davis and David Wright combined for 5 RBIs in the first game win. Jason Bay had another horrible outing with and 0 for 5. And K-Rod almost blew it. Luckily Cleveland couldn't close the deal. I'll take it.

Who is this team? Seriously. I know that the Indians and Orioles are generally bad teams but two sweeps in a row on the road is a great performance either way. While the particulars such as the injuries to Beltran and Maine, the Oliver Perez issue and Castillo being on the DL point to a team that should be struggling, the numbers in the win column say otherwise. I'm going to enjoy it for as long as it lasts. How about you?

and...
How about Johan giving up 4 runs AND getting a month's worth of run support for a win?
And 3 NL East teams have already lost and Atlanta's trailing?
Speechless
