I really wanted to make it back to NYC for a game at Citi's inaugural season, but what's the point at this rate. It'll be the same as my last game at Shea (bullpen coughs up big lead to Atlanta), the Mets' last game there, their first game at Citi, every other game at Citi....

I think that it's still worth it to visit Citi Field if you can this season. Sure, it probably won't be a game with playoff implications. But if the weather is good and the Mets play well it can at least feel like a meaningful game if only for one day.
You know things are bad when...
Santana takes a 3-run lead into the 8th inning and having K-Rod to pitch the 9th and yet they still manage to blow the lead. This team is killing me.
Terrible Loss
What a bad way to lose. The offense gets going and the pitching collapses. There's not much hope for the rest of the season.
or any

yeah
If a chance came up, I know I would, but I doubt I'll make an extra trip for it.
