Citi Field Photo Tour

Found this great photo tour of Citi Field courtesy of Mets Grrl and just had to share. The stadium looks great. I can't wait to see a game there. On the flip side the ticket prices (too high) and options (too many) really stink. That's life, right?

Sooooo many seating options

You're not kidding when you say the seating is too complicated. Check out this article excerpt I found on ESPN:

"at the Mets' Citi Field, where individual game sales began last weekend, the Mets have 35 categories of tickets, each with five levels of prices that vary depending on the opponent, day of the week and month. The Mets' top tickets, which sold out as part of season plans, are priced at $295-$695 and average $495. Their lowest-priced seats go for $11-27."

35 categories of tickets, each with 5 levels of prices! that's 175 different prices you may have to pay to go to the ballgame! And the fan has to choose between them on his own? Seriously, buying a ticket shouldn't require a calculator and a compare/contrast sheet! Why does everything have to be so complicated. Well, I'll tell you why: because some math mastermind behind the scenes figured out the exact pricing plans that will juice the most money out of us...all 175 of them. I don't mind that much but the whole thing is a little silly.
