Lots of changes to talk about on this podcast. We welcomed our second daughter into the world right around the time that Willie Randolph was being fired in California. I’ll give my thoughts on the firing of Willie Randolph and what it might mean for the Mets. I also talk about the measures Omar Minaya may need to take if the Mets don’t substantially improve over the next four weeks. Greg from Connecticut calls in and expresses the frustration that many Mets fans have been feeling.

Big Step Backward Tonight

The Mets can't get any sort of a roll going. Not even with Johan Santana on the mound against a team that just plain stinks. They should burn all the brooms at Shea cause these Mets don't have a series sweep in them

Went to the Game

I went to the game with my brother-in-law, who just happens to be a Mariner fan. He had joked after Wright made the error in the inning wouldn't it be great if Hernandez hit a grand slam? I said (sarcastically), "yeah...right...like that might just happen.". Well, we all know it did and it left the Mets lifeless and dead in the water for the rest of the game.

Sad.
