Lots of turmoil this week in the world of the Mets. So where the heck have I been. Well, lets just say that I now have two reasons to remember the early morning hours of June 17, 2008. First, Willie Randolph got fired. More on that from me soon enough.
Second, my second daughter was born. She came into the world at about 2:30 AM on Tuesday morning. I was oblivious to the Willie Randolph news till almost noon on Tuesday when a close friend who happens to be a Yankee fan called to bust my chops. Wow, what a surprise! How the heck could they fire Willie in the middle of the night and after a win?
I've had very little time to ponder the circumstances since them. All is well on the homefront. Mom, baby and our first daughter Mia are all well. Tonight I'll settle in to watch the game and let the juices flow. I hope to turn it into a podcast either later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Congrats
