Fantasy Baseball 2008

Hi everyone, I created a fantasy league for this season since no one did yet. All settings are the same as last year's, so nothing new to look at. The draft is Saturday March 15 at 6:30, but I imgaine Saturday might be a problem for people, so if it is let me know and I'll do my best to find a time that is best for everyone.

12 teams are allowed, so put a comment on the bottom of the blog and I'll send you the link to it and password.

I don't need to say it so..........

I'm excited as everyone about the Santana deal, but everyone knows about it so I'll get to something I'm finding interesting to watch, Citi Field

Check out this link with the newest update of the Citi Field construction

As for Johan....................I'm freakin' excited! But I don't need to say anything, the only I opinion I have in me is I think we should have kept one of our prospects and gotten rid of Pelfrey, its kind of being a jerk, but I just plain don't like him but either way, good job Omar.

Finally!

Apparently, Livan Hernandez is almost on the Mets, and thank god, no Teading needed here. I think we really need to shaping the rotation, and while Livan is no superstar, I think he's just what need to start moving into making moves, and a good 2nd-3rd slot starter, and the best part, he is not an inury risk like his brother.

Back to Johan. I've been thinking about it and I realize exactly what we are doing these last 2 1/2 months. A good strategey (sorry for spelling) that I hope the Mets are taking goes like this:

1. Look at Martinez and Mulvey in Spring Training
2. Look at their preformance in Spring Training, to see if they are worthy of staying, or getting traded
3. If the Twins are willing, go into the the season, see how they're able to compete against actual big leaguers

To much uncertainty

I tell ya, it's beginning to get on my nerves in what us Met fans are facing: the 2008 season. We are missing to many things, and I must ask, What's Omar Minaya been doing this offseason?

It seemed like Minaya was the guy who wasn't afraid to go out an trade and spend money, but over the last two offseasons, hes been a whole different person. We are missing a outstanding 1-2 punch in our Pitching (I'm sure Matt Wise isn't the answer to all of our problems)If we had our old Omar back, we would have Johan on our team a month ago! Omar needs to know that we are in the one major sport without a salary cap, LIVE IT UP! Before its gone! Lets go Omar, and Lets go Mets!
