I never thought in a million years that I would be leaving school (tomorrow) with the Mets not only in 4th in the division, but they just received a 4-game butt wooping by the lame Braves. Guys, I really try to be positive about the season because we are not even half-way through the season, but it is not looking at all good. Right now, we are seeing absolutely PATHETIC offensive performances by the starting line-up with the exception of 2.5 players (Church, Wright, .5Reyes). Delgado...garbage, Beltran...bust?

Sunday during opening day, Reyes was picked off at first base on a nice move by Carpenter. First, Carpenter faked a move to third base which made Reyes jump and then Carpenter picked him off at first. Joe Morgan made a comment that he thought that the move should be a balk because technically, you are deceiving the runner.

I was watching 1st and 10 today on ESPN and the topic of Roger Clemens came up and some guy (Lorenzo Neal) made the comment about Clemens in a Mets uniform and I thought about how awesome that would be. But, of course it isn't very likely. What do you all think about Clemens in a Mets uniform????

Just a scenario, but I guess it could happen if we show him the money.

Spring Training has been, well, not so impressive. I believe the Mets record is something like 6-11 so far with another 10 games, maybe. Chan Ho Park got demolished today to say the least. Now, I know that Spring Training does not really matter, but we got beat by the NATIONALS which some people say could be not only the worst team in the NL, but in all of MLB.
