Who else is loving our upcoming schedule? We start a three game series at home against Washington today, followed by three against Florida at home, then in June we have four at Pittsburgh, three at Washington, and three in Philly before it starts getting tough. These next sixteen games could be the time for the Mets to blow up and head into the Subway series with some momentum.

Mets Sign K-Rod
Submitted by giantsfan7791 on Tue, 12/09/2008 - 16:39The Mets have reportedly sign Francisco Rodriguez to a three-year, $37-million deal today. While the money may have been a little more than I would have liked, I think this was a move that the Mets needed to get done, especially when you consider that the 9th inning was what kept us out of the postseason again this year. I still like that Omar is making these big moves though, these are moves that I feel must be made to put last season behind us.
Your thoughts?

Reyes and Maine!!!
Submitted by giantsfan7791 on Wed, 05/02/2007 - 20:05Jose Reyes has been Named NL Player of the Month. He deserved it too, hitting .356, 26 runs scored, 17 stolen bases, 5 triples, and 18 RBI's from the leadoff spot. He is the most exciting player in baseball now, A-Rod can choke on his home runs as far as i'm concerned.
John Maine was also named the NL Pitcher of the Month with a 4-0 perfect record and a 1.35 ERA.
